Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join their Bridge and Structures team in Bellevue, Washington for the summer of 2027. This role involves working on innovative engineering projects for both private and public sector clients, focusing on the design, analysis, and maintenance of various structural systems, particularly bridges. Interns will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and gain practical experience under the guidance of professional engineers. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in structural engineering.

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Strong interest in structural and bridge engineering

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for bridges and transportation projects
• Prepare structural design calculations, cost estimates, drawings, specifications, and reports
• Develop design solutions and contract drawings using MicroStation or AutoCAD
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and optimize design solutions
• Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients under supervision
