Requirements
- Must have 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) claims data or analytics is required.
- Proficiency in developing data pipelines utilizing dbt, GitHub, and Airflow or similar technologies is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong foundation in modern data architecture concepts.
- Design efficient and scalable data models for complex projects.
- Recommend practical data delivery technologies to improve performance and usability.
- Execute all phases of development for automated data delivery processes using ETL/ELT tools.
- Apply advanced SQL skills to write, debug, optimize, and maintain queries and data pipelines.
- Support the migration of existing SAS solutions to widely used technologies at GEICO.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data models and architectures.
- Perform and automate daily maintenance processes.
- Assist with data and database migrations, testing, and validation.
- Conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning for data pipelines.
