Job description
As the Electrical Engineering Manager at KLA, you will lead a talented team of electrical engineers focused on developing next-generation inspection tools for the semiconductor industry. This role involves collaboration with system engineers and other leaders to define electrical system specifications and architecture. You will manage schedules and budgets while ensuring the delivery of reliable subsystems. The position emphasizes innovation and problem-solving within a dynamic engineering environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience with proven leadership abilities, including 2+ years of management experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an electrical engineer manager role
- Knowledge of advanced FPGA design is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of highly skilled electrical engineers with expertise in analog electronics, sensors, and image acquisition
- Work with system engineers and other functional leaders to define electrical system design specifications
- Define electronics architecture for the next generation product
- Manage EE schedule and budget, prioritizing tasks effectively
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to deliver subsystems that meet design specifications
- Integrate and test subsystems to ensure functionality
- Review test plans and results to shorten development time
