Job description

The role at NVIDIA involves working as a senior member of the Design-for-Test Engineering team, focusing on innovative solutions for DFT architecture and validation of complex semiconductor chips. The position emphasizes data analytics, visualization, and modeling, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality. Candidates will tackle challenging problems in the Design For Test space and contribute to the development of next-generation products using AI methodologies. Mentoring junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • BSEE with 5+ years, MSEE with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of experience in low-power DFT, Data Visualization, Applied Machine Learning or Database Management.
  • Experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling is crucial.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, C++, or Tcl.
  • Excellent knowledge in using statistical tools for data analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Work with pre-silicon and post-silicon data analytics, including visualization and insights.
  • Design and uphold data pipelines and ETL processes for DFX Engineering data.
  • Lead engineering efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
  • Apply algorithm design and statistical tools to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
  • Help develop and deploy DFT methodologies for next-generation products using Gen AI solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs related to cost and quality.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
