The Sr. Data Science, Ops Decision Systems role at Rivian focuses on designing, building, and operating simulation and optimization systems for the remarketing business. This technical individual contributor position requires proficiency in Python and Databricks, as well as experience in developing multi-variable simulation models. • Proficiency with Python, SQL, and Databricks or equivalent warehouse/lakehouse platform.
• Experience with Git-based engineering workflows, code review, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience owning production data infrastructure end-to-end, including data modeling and pipeline orchestration.
• Ability to design and validate applied simulation and optimization models.
• Experience reasoning about supply/demand constraints and translating operational decisions into dollar-denominated outcomes.
