This role is part of Apple's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization, focusing on building and operating systems that connect Apple's products with customers. • 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or software engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Working knowledge of source control management systems, including Git and SVN.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid coding skills in Go, Java, or Python, with working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience building and maintaining build/release systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Helm.
• Working knowledge of web servers and load balancers, including Apache HTTP Server, NGINX, or HAProxy.
• Familiarity with hypervisors and virtualization tooling such as VMware ESXi, Vagrant, or KVM.
• General understanding of application security, system security, and transport layer security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
