The role is for an experienced pre-sales professional who will work closely with the Enterprise Account Executive to define and direct the technical strategy for large accounts. The Solutions Architect will leverage their background in value selling and technical leadership to help enterprises adopt Databricks' products, particularly in the areas of ML and AI. This position requires a deep understanding of data-driven business transformation and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. The Solutions Architect will also mentor team members and lead clients on their transformational journey.

• Experience in establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within accounts.
• Experience working with very large global accounts with over $1 million in annual recurring revenue.
• Technical experience in data engineering, cloud data warehousing, and/or data science.
• Production programming expertise in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience practicing live coding sessions with stakeholders.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certifications.

• Act as the main technical voice for Databricks while working with multiple clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• Implement the technical strategy in accounts with a clear understanding of its business value.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members.
