The SoC Power Integrity Engineer will join the Hardware Technology Group to develop and verify Power Integrity solutions for various Apple devices. This role requires attention to detail and a passion for precision in driving SoC power delivery architecture. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and efficiency of power integrity performance. The position involves both modeling and practical lab measurements to validate designs.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of industry experience.
• M.S. or Ph.D. with a background in Power/Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, Microwave, or Analog/RF Circuit Design.
• Understanding of power supply architecture and multi-stage voltage regulator technologies.
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development and PDN modeling.
• Proficiency in Python coding and experience with AI/ML assisted automation.
• Deep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles.
• Good knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools and electromagnetic theory.

• Define the PDN architecture and design solution space for systems across various power and noise specifications.
• Conduct power delivery modeling, simulation, and characterization for die, package, module, board, and Voltage Regulator.
• Manage all SoC PI related topics including on-die inrush and off-die droop budget.
• Perform PDN signoffs and analyze digital to analog/RF noise coupling.
• Verify the quality of power integrity performance using advanced lab measurements.
• Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
