The SoC Power Integrity Engineer will join the Hardware Technology Group to develop, implement, and verify Power Integrity solutions for various Apple devices. This role requires attention to detail and a passion for precision to achieve outstanding results. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive SoC power delivery architecture and ensure the quality of power integrity performance. The position focuses on power delivery network solutions and advanced lab measurements.

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in Power/Signal Integrity, Power Electronics, Electromagnetics, Microwave, or Analog/RF Circuit Design.
• Understanding of power supply architecture and multi-stage voltage regulator technologies.
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development and PDN modeling.
• Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation.
• Deep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles.
• Good knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools and electromagnetic theory.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as VNA and spectrum analyzers.

• Define the PDN architecture and design solution space for systems with varying power and noise specifications.
• Conduct power delivery modeling, simulation, and characterization for various components.
• Oversee all SoC Power Integrity related topics including inrush and droop budget.
• Perform digital to analog/RF noise coupling analysis and voltage guard band assessments.
• Mitigate active droop and ensure PDN signoffs.
• Verify the quality of power integrity performance using advanced lab measurements.
