The role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on power optimization for next-generation SOCs within the Camera Engineering group. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid foundation in Electrical Systems Engineering and Digital Logic Design.
- Understanding of HW micro-architecture of digital systems and ASIC implementation flow.
- Knowledge of low power design at system and core levels.
- Experience with video encoder/decoder systems and architecture.
- Experience with camera systems and architecture.
- Experience in power modeling, verification, and simulation tools.
- Experience with high level synthesis tools and flow.
Responsibilities
- Prototype and analyze power optimization features.
- Develop novel power-optimized multimedia hardware and systems architecture.
- Implement models for power projections and validation.
- Establish use-case and hardware core power targets.
- Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to validate power features.
- Conduct competitive analysis and machine learning workload analysis.
