Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
- 2+ years of applicable video hardware and/or systems experience.
- 2+ years of experience with hardware system design, system integration, schematic capture, and circuit simulation software.
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python, as well as computer architecture or embedded systems.
- 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Apply Video and Computer Vision Engineering knowledge to research and develop video codec and computer vision hardware.
- Design, develop, implement, and verify video systems and hardware tasks including Video Encoder, Video Decoder, and Computer Vision.
- Perform architecture, standard study, algorithm, and feature decomposition to drive requirements for hardware development.
- Ensure KPIs, systems performance, and area and power metrics are met.
- Collaborate with design and test teams to analyze customer product requirements for new architecture and modifications.
- Contribute to video subsystems and develop features in line with product proposals or roadmaps.
- Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions to guide users and customers.
