Job description
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Reliability Engineer to lead reliability strategy and improvement initiatives across advanced semiconductor and hardware products. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust product reliability throughout the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will drive reliability qualifications and perform failure analysis while applying statistical reliability modeling. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Reliability Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
- 1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Strong experience in product reliability qualification and validation methodologies.
- Expertise in reliability risk assessment techniques such as DFMEA, PFMEA, or Fault Tree Analysis.
- Experience with statistical reliability analysis and modeling tools such as JMP, ReliaSoft, Python, or MATLAB.
Responsibilities
- Lead reliability strategy and qualification execution for semiconductor and hardware products.
- Perform risk assessments and drive reliability improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with technology development, design, product engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Develop risk-based validation strategies and perform failure analysis.
- Influence product and technology decisions through data-driven reliability engineering practices.
