Job description
As an ASIC Engineer at Qualcomm, you will play a crucial role in defining, modeling, designing, and validating high-performance, low-power products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product execution and support the development of architectures and circuit specifications. This position requires a strong foundation in engineering principles and the ability to utilize various design tools. You will also be responsible for writing technical documentation related to EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
- 6+ months of experience with architecture and design tools.
- 6+ months of experience with scripting tools and programming languages.
- 6+ months of experience with design verification methods.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining, modeling, designing, optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting IP development for various products.
- Help create architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and system simulations based on system-level requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to develop implementation strategies that meet system requirements and customer needs.
- Support the evaluation of process flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, and verification.
- Utilize tools and applications to execute and enable architecture and design of specific parts of a block/SoC or IC Package.
- Write technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
