Job description
The Engineering Project Manager will support the delivery of a next-generation publishing platform that spans various management systems and serves all of Apple. This role is part of the Retail and Marcom Engineering team, which focuses on enhancing employee and customer experiences through innovative technology. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across engineering, business, and operations teams to ensure scalable platform services. The ideal candidate will bring energy and organization to software delivery while navigating day-to-day complexities.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project or program management
- Experience supporting or participating in iterative delivery processes such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a cross-functional and ideally time-zone distributed team environment
- Familiarity with platform, re-platform, or migration programs
- Foundational technical understanding of engineering workflows, APIs, and cloud-based systems
Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional teams and help clarify day-to-day delivery challenges
- Coordinate people, process, and technology to deliver quality software on time
- Run cadences, ceremonies, and tracking to maintain quality and alignment in platform delivery
- Collaborate with senior PMs and engineering leads to apply delivery best practices
- Help introduce or reinforce iterative practices and metrics-driven tracking
- Communicate effectively with both engineers and cross-functional stakeholders
