Job description
The Manufacturing Test Engineer role at Amazon Web Services involves building and sustaining the end-to-end test infrastructure for server hardware in a dynamic international manufacturing environment. Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- 4+ years of systems development experience in an IT or data center environment.
- 4+ years of experience deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
- 2+ years of experience in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement.
- 1+ years of experience in development/programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Perl.
- Knowledge of engineering practices for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Own the Manufacturing Test Ecosystem by architecting, developing, and sustaining the test infrastructure for server hardware.
- Drive automation and improve yield and uptime by developing automated test processes.
- Define test strategies and analyze production data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Support new product introduction and provide design feedback to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with hardware design, firmware, and operations teams to align test requirements and optimize test time.
