The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) role involves embedding within a strategic enterprise customer to design, build, deploy, and run AI-powered production systems. FDEs are responsible for writing production-grade software and ensuring successful outcomes from prototype to enterprise-scale deployment. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and ownership to deliver measurable business results. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead
• Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience leading agentic and spec-driven development at production scale
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience working with AWS Services
• Experience building or deploying AI/ML applications at enterprise production scale
• Experience architecting and delivering complex, multi-component systems in customer production environments
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Go
• 3+ years of experience working in an Agile, startup, or rapidly scaling environment

• Lead technical delivery across customer engagements
• Own the technical strategy and execution for complex customer AI programs
• Architect and build production AI systems at scale
• Define operational standards and production readiness criteria for AI systems
• Establish mechanisms that ensure AI systems remain healthy
• Define engineering patterns and mentor junior FDEs
• Identify opportunities to expand AI adoption across the customer organization
• Create accelerators and reusable platforms to reduce time-to-value
