The Software Engineer role on the AWS Compliance & Security Assurance team focuses on building and owning internal services that monitor security and compliance attributes of key infrastructure. The team is multidisciplinary, including software engineers, security engineers, and compliance specialists, and aims to exceed security expectations globally. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Build and own internal services that identify and monitor security and compliance attributes
• Scale security and compliance assessments of AWS services
• Expand the ability to continuously monitor key security functions
