Job description
The role involves joining a CAD team to develop and enhance AMS simulation methodologies for analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs. The engineer will work closely with design teams to create efficient simulation flows and methodologies across various technology nodes. This position emphasizes collaboration and hands-on experience in circuit analysis and simulation. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering validated IP for Apple's innovative processors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Python, Perl, or TCL programming.
- Experience using mixed-signal co-simulation tools.
- Familiarity with industry-standard AMS tools including Cadence, Synopsys, or Siemens.
- Understanding of behavioral and functional circuit description languages including SystemVerilog and VHDL.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance AMS simulation methodology and tools.
- Collaborate closely with design teams to validate AMS/co-simulation flows.
- Identify and address simulation accuracy, speed, and capacity issues.
- Drive efforts to provide ease of use and speed up design validation.
- Architect solutions for mixed-signal designs across different technology nodes.
