Job description
Citi's Equity Research team is seeking a Senior Associate to provide support in the Payments, Processors & IT Services sector. This role involves delivering high-quality investment insights that influence equity investors globally. The position emphasizes independence, objectivity, and analytical depth, allowing the candidate to engage with clients and produce impactful research. Requirements
- 5-8 years of previous experience in equity or credit research.
- MBA or graduate degree and/or CFA preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting and modeling.
- Experience in supporting senior equity research analysts.
- Excellent inter-personal and writing skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact.
- Maintain and update existing company models and create new models.
- Assist with the publication of earnings previews, initiation reports, and deep dive notes.
- Assist with client inquiries and requests from both internal and external sources.
- Coordinate investor meetings and conference calls with consultants.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
