Job description
The Staff Software Engineer for Generative AI Content in Search Platforms at Google will focus on developing and deploying advanced GenAI technologies to enhance content understanding and AI-generated content frameworks. This role is part of the Content and GenAI Exploration team, which aims to innovate and improve search experiences through AI. The engineer will work collaboratively with various teams to integrate new technologies into Google's content products and services. This position offers the opportunity to impact billions of users globally by solving complex engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience leading ML design and optimizing ML infrastructure.
- 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques or related concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy GenAI technology to empower content understanding and AI-generated content frameworks.
- Conduct applied research on new GenAI techniques to explore new content experiences.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate new GenAI technology into content products and services.
- Contribute to the goals and roadmaps of Search Content Platform's next generation.
- Support holistic content modeling and infrastructure to drive consistent downstream product experiences.
