The Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) at StubHub will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining both backend and frontend components to enhance the live event experience. This role involves solving complex technical challenges and improving core platforms for stability and scalability. The engineer will collaborate with peers to ensure high standards in software design and deployment while contributing to robust monitoring and incident-response processes. The position allows for some telecommuting, with a requirement to report to the Aliso Viejo office when not working remotely.

• Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation performing full-stack user experience.
• In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in a related field plus 5 years of professional experience is acceptable.
• 3 years of professional experience applying user-centered design principles.
• 3 years of professional experience developing, maintaining, and improving web applications built with .NET and C#.
• 3 years of professional experience utilizing Typescript and React to build user interfaces for web applications.
• 3 years of professional experience owning web applications for web-based point-of-sale for ticket reselling.
• 3 years of professional experience writing SQL Server queries against large-scale data.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend and frontend components across multiple programming languages and frameworks.
• Solve advanced technical challenges in areas such as concurrency and distributed data consistency.
• Refactor and improve core platforms through system-level optimizations and automation.
• Design and implement features and services that improve system responsiveness and operational reliability.
• Contribute to robust monitoring, observability, and incident-response processes.
