Job description
The Advanced Forward Engineering team at EY is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems in highly regulated environments. This role involves end-to-end delivery ownership and hands-on engineering execution, ensuring that AI solutions are technically sound and deployable. The engineer will work closely with clients to navigate real-world constraints and make pragmatic tradeoffs. This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer who excels in ambiguous problem-solving and can translate technical details into business outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
- Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
- Practical experience with modern AI application stacks.
- Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
Responsibilities
- Embed directly with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
- Own end-to-end delivery outcomes for engagements from initial shaping through implementation.
- Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations using approved platform capabilities.
- Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise delivery standards.
- Ensure solutions comply with security and AI integrity constraints.
