Job description
The FSO Financial Accounting Advisory Services Manager at EY will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. This position involves developing new and enhancing existing client relationships while leading skilled project teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The manager will work closely with diverse teams to address complex challenges in the financial services industry. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration across multiple service lines.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years of audit or consulting work experience in a public accounting firm.
- US CPA licensure in your work state location.
- Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge.
- A deep understanding of the marketplace, including commonly used terminology, processes, and tools.
- A proven record of excellence in managing, mentoring, and improving a team of high-performing colleagues.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients on complex accounting issues.
- Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy while balancing risk and client expectations.
- Ensure the Engagement team thoroughly understands clients' unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.
- Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.
- Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve products and processes.
