Job description
The Cyber Defense Incident Responder - Associate Director role at EY involves leading incident response efforts to cybersecurity events on a global scale. The position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage complex incidents while fostering relationships across various teams. The role is part of the Cyber & Investigative Services team, which focuses on enhancing cybersecurity measures and incident management processes. Candidates will be responsible for developing and documenting response operations to ensure continuous improvement in the firm's cybersecurity strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of collective experience in Information Security and Information System Administration/Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in roles such as Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst/Manager or Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence.
- 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Digital Forensics Incident Response (DFIR) or as a Cybersecurity Incident Coordinator.
- Mastery of electronic investigation and forensic tools, including log correlation and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Independently coordinate complex response efforts to global cybersecurity incidents caused by external threats.
- Serve as a liaison and relationship manager to different businesses and interface with team members across Information Security.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in General Counsel, Data Privacy/Protection, and Risk Management.
- Oversee critical Cyber & Investigative Services projects as directed by leadership.
- Develop and document processes to ensure consistent and scalable response operations.
