As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing embedded and cloud edge software that drives next-generation experiences. The role involves collaborating with various engineering teams to create system-level software solutions that meet customer needs. You will focus on software/firmware test automation and ensuring the quality and compliance of Qualcomm products. This position emphasizes continuous integration and deployment while enhancing existing operating systems and customer environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.

• Create software/firmware test plans addressing requirements traceability matrix and test coverage.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated software/firmware test suites for verifying quality and compliance.
• Manually test the customer experience of installation and deployment of Qualcomm hardware and software.
• Assist in creating a Quality Engineering/Release engineering process with an emphasis on continuous integration and deployment.
• Focus on ensuring existing Operating Systems and customer usage environments run well while identifying opportunities for enhancements.
