Job description
Join Apple's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization to help build and manage the technology systems that power Apple. The Sales and Operations Engineering team focuses on connecting systems that facilitate the movement of products from factory to customer. This role involves developing solutions that handle global complexity and immense scale. You will work with a team that ensures Apple's technology and business priorities are aligned.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional work experience.
- 3+ years experience developing software in a professional capacity.
- 2+ years proven experience implementing cloud-based distributed systems, including familiarity with API implementation.
- 2+ years experience using relational and NoSQL databases.
- 2+ years experience with Java.
- 2+ years experience with middleware technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cloud-based distributed systems.
- Connect sales platforms with operational infrastructure.
- Utilize CI/CD tools to build, test, deploy, and release containerized software applications.
- Apply knowledge of networking concepts and protocols in system design.
- Implement testable, maintainable, and extensible backend code.
