Job description
The Apple Services Engineering team is looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead compliance initiatives across various business lines. This role focuses on ensuring Apple meets global data compliance commitments and adheres to regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement programs that support internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include driving large-scale compliance programs and facilitating organization-wide communication.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data compliance and/or data governance
- 10+ years of experience in the software development industry and/or big data
- Excellent understanding of and experience in data laws and concepts
- Experience in software development life cycle methodologies and managing large-scale programs
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with Digital Markets Act and other competition laws is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Drive critical compliance initiatives across Apple's diverse lines of business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement compliance programs
- Establish and execute multi-year roadmaps for compliance initiatives
- Develop comprehensive monitoring and reporting mechanisms
- Facilitate organization-wide communication regarding compliance efforts
- Support education initiatives in partnership with ASE's engineering teams
- Lead large-scale compliance programs and drive process improvements
