The role is part of Apple's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization, specifically within the AI & Data Platforms (AiDP) team. This team focuses on building AI-powered solutions to enhance efficiency and streamline the adoption of generative AI across Apple. The position involves designing and building core platform capabilities, managing the full product lifecycle, and ensuring operational health. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver impactful solutions.

• 10+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade full-stack and backend services using Node.js, ReactJS, TypeScript, and Java.
• Experience with Kafka and Flink for event-driven architectures and real-time stream processing.
• Experience building AI-powered products, including LLM integration and intelligent automation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with microservices, system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end product features with a focus on user and business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and stakeholders.

• Design and build core platform capabilities for business automation and AI-powered insights.
• Own products through the full lifecycle, including shipping new features and resolving production issues.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, engineering standards, and technology choices.
