The role involves joining a team focused on developing and enhancing AMS simulation methodologies and tools for various design teams at Apple. The engineer will work on circuit analysis, simulation, and design verification workflows to ensure the delivery of validated IP in advanced silicon. Collaboration with design teams is essential to drive and validate mixed-signal simulation flows. The position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant AMS industry experience
• Experience in Python, Perl, C/C++, or TCL programming
• Experience using mixed-signal co-simulation tools
• Familiarity with analog simulation tools such as Cadence Spectre, Synopsys PrimeSim/HSPICE/Finesim, or Siemens AFS
• Understanding of behavioral and functional circuit description languages including SystemVerilog, VerilogA, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, VHDL
• Fundamentals in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, system architecture, command-line and GUI interaction, testing/coverage, and revision control
• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Develop, maintain, and enhance AMS simulation methodology and tools for analog, RF, and mixed-signal designs
• Collaborate closely with design teams to provide flows and methodologies for different tool sets
• Drive and coordinate efforts to develop and validate AMS/co-simulation flows
• Identify and address simulation accuracy, speed, and capacity issues
• Ensure ease of use and speed up design validation for mixed-signal simulations
