Job description
The Wallet & Payments Engineering Web team is looking for a skilled full-stack engineer to build and maintain WPC web properties. This agile team focuses on creating high-performance web applications that serve users globally. The role involves solving complex problems and making a significant impact at scale. Requirements
- 3+ years delivering production-grade, customer-facing web software with measurable quality and performance outcomes
- 2+ years building Node.js BFF layers that serve complex web UIs at scale
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically Vue, applied in production environments
- Solid grounding in CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Working knowledge of web security principles and cryptographic concepts as they apply to frontend and API design
- Experience shipping production applications using SSR frameworks like Nuxt or Next.js with Vite or Webpack
- Hands-on experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with frontend testing coverage via Cypress or Playwright
- Experience building or contributing to a design system with documented accessibility standards meeting WCAG 2.1 AA or higher
- Prior work on iOS or hybrid mobile development
- Production experience with real-time web technologies such as WebSockets, WebRTC, or WebGL
