The EHS Engineer will be part of the Apple Environment, Health & Safety team, focusing on ensuring the safety and compliance of corporate operations. This role involves providing exceptional EHS support to various teams and managing regulatory obligations in Apple facilities. The successful candidate will be skilled in problem-solving and effective communication across technical disciplines. They will also be responsible for implementing EHS programs and conducting safety assessments to enhance workplace safety.

• 10+ years of EHS operations experience
• Experience in research and development lab or industrial facility operations, particularly in semiconductor or similar environments
• BA/BS in an EHS-based degree or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of California regulations and safety standards
• Experience with physical safety, equipment safety, fire safety, and emergency response
• Nationally recognized professional credentials such as Board Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist
• Experience conducting EHS design reviews for new equipment or processes
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and reporting skills

• Provide EHS support to various corporate team operations
• Manage regulatory compliance obligations in Apple owned and operated facilities
• Facilitate safety risk assessments and implement EHS programs
• Perform building and lab inspections and conduct accident investigations
• Provide emergency response and operational EHS support for facility and lab construction projects
