As a Framework Software Engineer in Apple's Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization, you will play a key role in building tools and features for Data and Machine Learning platforms. The team focuses on AI-powered innovation, working on data processing, insights portals, and data visualization. You will tackle complex challenges and create high-quality software solutions that enhance the functionality of third-party BI tools. This position requires collaboration and creativity to meet tight deadlines while delivering impactful results.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java and/or Python
• Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience designing and developing scalable and performant micro-services and REST APIs
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
• Experience in building and deploying cloud-native applications/products
• Working experience with big data technologies and data platforms
• Prior experience in the areas of AI, ML, or Data Sciences is a strong plus
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks
• Hands-on experience with distributed computing technologies
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores

• Build various tools and features for Data and ML platforms
• Develop custom solutions from the ground up or customize open source products for Apple's needs
• Create innovative tools and frameworks that extend the functionality of third-party BI tools using APIs
• Collaborate with teams to streamline the adoption and embedding of generative AI across Apple
