NVIDIA is seeking a Datacenter Systems Engineer to join their Engineering team, focusing on rack-level integration for next-generation data center products. This role involves collaborating with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to optimize integration processes and resolve technical issues. The engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction while contributing to the advancement of computing technology. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience of 15+ years in systems engineering, preferably in the data center or semiconductor industry.
  • Strong understanding of rack-level systems integration processes and technologies, particularly L10/L11 integration.
  • Proven ability to debug complex technical issues and implement effective solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multi-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience in customer support or quality assurance is a plus.
  • Proficiency in networking topologies and testing high-speed networks used in data center environments.
  • Willingness to travel onsite to various ODM locations in North America and Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical support for L10/L11 rack-level integration for ODMs responsible for next-generation data center products.
  • Collaborate closely with ODM partners to streamline and optimize rack-level integration processes.
  • Conduct detailed debugging and resolve any rack-level integration issues to support ODM manufacturing test flows.
  • Address factory issues promptly to improve the production line for rack-level integration and overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide L11 customer quality support, addressing concerns related to product integration and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work with engineering design teams to ensure seamless integration of changes or corrective actions for quality products.
  • Offer direct feedback into the manufacturing process, supplying insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
