The Network Development Engineer role at Amazon Dedicated Cloud involves implementing innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community agencies. The position focuses on driving the stability and sustainability of next-generation IP networks while collaborating with Systems and Software Engineers. Candidates will leverage their experience in network and Unix systems engineering to manage networking projects related to deployment and optimization. The role also requires maintaining a security clearance at the TS/SCI level.

• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols.
• Experience in major internet routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and Junos.
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Experience with Unix and scripting in Perl, shell, C or C++.
