Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join the Power Delivery team. This role involves direct client interaction and project management, focusing on the engineering and design of substation projects ranging from 4kV to 500kV. The position requires collaboration with various engineering disciplines and the coordination of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will contribute to improving quality of life through sustainable solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within Substation projects from 4kV up to 500kV
• Experience with substation physical layouts, bus configurations, and grounding
• Proficient in AutoCAD and engineering software such as SKM/ETAP and CDEGS/WinIGS
• Design experience adhering to National Electrical Code and IEEE codes and standards

• Responsible for engineering, detail design, studies, and delivery of substation physical electrical projects
• Independently perform engineering and detail design drawings, studies, and analysis
• Lead and participate in the preparation of project estimates and proposals
• Coordinate closely with civil, structural, and high-voltage electrical engineers
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, and Technical Lead to support client goals
• Conduct quality assurance/quality control on the work of other engineers and designers
• Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and vendors to support project execution
