This leadership role focuses on guiding a team responsible for the development and manufacturing of next-generation High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in HBM and proven leadership in product development and semiconductor manufacturing. The role emphasizes collaboration across various teams to improve yield and ensure successful product transitions from development to high-volume production.
Requirements
- MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ overall years of experience in memory product development or engineering.
- 3+ years of technical leadership and people management experience.
- Strong circuit-level understanding of HBM architecture and key AC/DC datasheet parameters.
- Hands-on experience with product characterization on the Verigy 93K ATE platform.
- Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ with experience in statistical data modeling using JMP or equivalent tools.
- Experience building automation and scripting infrastructure for validation, data analysis, and test workflows.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of product development engineers responsible for HBM bringup, characterization, and production ramp.
- Partner closely with HBM vendors and NVIDIA teams to root-cause manufacturing failures.
- Own root-cause analysis and resolution for yield excursions and reliability escapes.
- Lead yield improvement initiatives to reduce HBM manufacturing fallout to zero.
- Deliver structured quality feedback to HBM suppliers and lead test audits.
- Establish scalable data analysis frameworks, automation tooling, and statistical methodologies.
- Collaborate with operations teams on product qualification and ramp readiness.
- Present HBM readiness status and risk assessments to NVIDIA leadership.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
