Job description
The Senior PQE position at NVIDIA's Quality and Reliability Group focuses on maintaining the quality of Automotive and Tegra products. This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams to develop test strategies and perform detailed failure analysis. The candidate will support products throughout their lifecycle, from new product introduction to production release, and address customer return issues. Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in system/board level hardware verification/debug.
- BS Degree or MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge in manufacturing and production testing of boards and systems.
- Experience with system test development and knowledge of components such as servers, storage devices, and network devices.
- Exposure to digital design, circuit analysis, schematic review, and firmware.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with multi-functional teams to align and maintain plans for failure analysis solutions.
- Develop test strategies for new features, including test equipment and diagnostic software specification.
- Perform detailed failure analysis to identify root causes of customer-reported issues.
- Investigate NVIDIA product failures and determine solutions through lab experimentation.
- Maintain involvement in containment, risk assessment, and risk mitigation activities related to hardware failures.
