Job description
This role is focused on leading the implementation of RFID solutions for retail customers as part of Amazon's Just Walk Out team. The engineer will work closely with customers, product, engineering, and operations teams to define optimal solutions that address unique in-store and back-of-house needs. The position requires a strong understanding of customer challenges and the ability to deliver effective solutions. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
- 5+ years of experience optimizing designs, processes, and/or products in retail and/or engineering
- Experience working directly with customers and delivering products/solutions with quantitative impact
- Experience in defining standardized processes and scalable software tools
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineering tools
- Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites
- Experience in retail, operations, and/or business management
- Experience building or using optimization software for system design and multi-step processes
Responsibilities
- Understand the business and operational needs of JWO's RFID customers across various verticals.
- Stay current on the features and benefits of JWO's latest RFID products and tools.
- Provide RFID customers with the appropriate in-store and back-of-house RFID solutions.
- Adhere to, enforce, and improve the store configuration and launch process in partnership with sales and implementation teams.
- Identify gaps in JWO's RFID product offering and escalate them to the product team.
- Present customer learnings, process improvements, program updates, and strategic roadmaps to senior leadership.
- Travel up to 25% based on business needs.
