The EC2 Nitro platform is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to the development of new EC2 machine learning platforms. The role involves collaboration with various technical teams focused on hardware, firmware, systems, and application software. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and expertise in C/C++ or Rust within a Linux environment. This position emphasizes innovation in high-performance training and inference workloads for the next generation of EC2 Supercomputers.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing
