The Apple Services Engineering AI/ML quality organization is seeking a Software Developer In Test to enhance the quality of Apple's services. This role focuses on building developer tools, test frameworks, and libraries while leading cross-functional projects. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services in the AI/ML space, ensuring excellence in various Apple platforms. Candidates should have a passion for quality engineering and solid software engineering skills.

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years or Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and/or test automation.
• At least 3 years of experience leading complex, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience in designing and implementing testing frameworks for distributed systems.
• Passion for quality engineering and testing machine learning algorithms.
• Impeccable communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Big Data systems, Apache Spark is a plus.
• Experience with testing or working with AI/ML systems is a plus.

• Design, implement, and maintain automation tests and testing frameworks.
• Analyze and recommend best practices for coding guidelines and quality gates.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive quality assurance best practices.
• Identify process inefficiencies and help drive improvements.
• Guide tool analysis and create proof of concept models.
• Mentor junior team members.
