Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in a Silicon Engineer-related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in a relevant field and 2 years of experience in a Silicon Engineer-related occupation.
- 2 years of experience in computer processor architecture and microarchitecture.
- 2 years of experience in object-oriented programming verification languages such as SystemVerilog, C++, or VHDL.
- 2 years of experience with formal verification tools and simulation or emulation tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, optimize, or verify custom silicon chips for data centers and consumer devices.
- Complete object-oriented design verification.
- Develop networking hardware and software to ensure reliable connectivity across Google's infrastructure.
- Design and build servers and storage systems optimized for data centers.
- Conduct verification and testing of silicon designs.
