Job description
The Customer Solutions Engineer role at Google focuses on advising customers on business objectives to design and architect comprehensive security solutions using the Google Cloud stack. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for enterprise requirements and lead account planning. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in a related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 1 year of experience in a related occupation.
- 1 year of experience in designing end-to-end security frameworks, including IAM and VPC Service Controls.
- Experience in developing reusable technical assets and production-quality code.
- Knowledge of implementing advanced data security techniques and tuning security policies.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on business objectives to design and architect comprehensive, end-to-end security solutions.
- Demonstrate platform value by building security prototypes and tuning policies for peak performance.
- Scope requirements and write production-quality code that adheres to strict engineering standards.
- Create reusable technical assets, including scripts, templates, and reference architectures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Strategy teams to shape the future of Google Cloud.
- Lead account planning to identify new opportunities and manage stakeholder consensus.
