The Structural Engineering Intern will support the delivery of various local, regional, and national projects from the St. Louis, Missouri office. As part of the Special Structures team, the intern will work on projects such as flood control and municipal water/wastewater systems. This role offers the opportunity to engage in structural analysis and design while collaborating with other engineering disciplines. The intern will gain valuable experience and skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• In pursuit of a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Proactive attitude with a strong initiative and eagerness to learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and word processors, such as MS-Excel and MS-Word
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship

• Provide technical structural analysis and design for various projects
• Generate and supervise the development of reports, drawings, and specifications for construction
• Review and approve construction submittals, primarily structural shop drawings
• Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, hydraulic, and mechanical engineers and architects on project designs
• Gradually take on leadership roles with increasing responsibilities
