Arcadis is seeking a Stormwater Engineer to join their Transportation Team, focusing on the planning and design of stormwater and drainage infrastructure projects. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative mobility solutions for DOT and municipal clients. The engineer will work on various roadway drainage projects across the southeast, contributing to the design and preparation of construction plans. This position emphasizes the importance of teamwork and effective communication to tackle complex challenges.

• 7+ years of drainage design and project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Basic understanding of FEMA floodplain regulations
• Knowledge of stormwater design including open channel conveyance and closed drainage systems
• Experience working on DOT projects is a plus
• Possess good communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills

• Contribute to the planning and design of stormwater and drainage infrastructure projects
• Assist in all aspects of roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies and culvert design
• Prepare construction plans, project displays, cost estimates, reports, and technical memos
• Utilize various design software to assist with the design and preparation of construction plans
• Coordinate with project managers, ecologists, and roadway engineers
• Direct junior engineer’s design activities
