Qualcomm is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to enhance AI/ML-based automation in Automotive SoC Cybersecurity and Safety engineering. This position focuses on developing intelligent solutions that improve engineering productivity and streamline workflows. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of challenges, including AI-assisted engineering tools and compliance automation. This role combines expertise in AI/ML, cybersecurity, and semiconductor engineering to align with automotive cybersecurity standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of relevant work experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with 2+ years.
• Strong background in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
• Experience with LLMs, GenAI, and intelligent automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience building scalable, production-quality ML pipelines.

• Design and develop AI/ML-based automation solutions for cybersecurity and functional safety engineering workflows.
• Build intelligent systems for document understanding and engineering productivity.
• Develop and deploy solutions leveraging LLMs, GenAI, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Contribute to knowledge automation platforms that support cross-project reuse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, functional safety, systems, software, design, and verification.
