• 6 to 10+ years of hands-on professional software development experience in backend engineering.
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, microservices, and REST/gRPC APIs.
• Proven track record of conducting thorough code reviews and identifying issues.
• Strong command of low-level design and ability to produce detailed technical designs.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of engineers.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience in large-scale, regulated, or enterprise environments, preferably in financial services.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical trade-offs to various stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
