The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on establishing and implementing new or revised application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. The role aims to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. The analyst will utilize their expertise to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position also involves mentoring lower-level analysts and providing user support.

• 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, Microservices, React, JavaScript, CSS, Git, and SQL
• 4+ years of experience with MongoDB, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform
• 4+ years of experience in Full Stack Development
• 4+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
• 4+ years of experience in an Applications Development role
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning for application systems.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Analyze complex problems and provide evaluations of business and system processes.
• Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation to ensure system functionality.
• Consult with users and technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Define operating standards and processes to ensure essential procedures are followed.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
