The Senior Software Development Engineer will join the GenAI & Strategic Initiatives team at Amazon Luna, focusing on AI integration to enhance productivity across internal teams. This role involves building AI-powered solutions that optimize marketing workflows and improve customer engagement. The engineer will work collaboratively to drive the adoption of GenAI tools and create transformative workflows. The position requires a hands-on approach to design, develop, and operate infrastructure for both proprietary and third-party models.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Experience shipping Gen AI-powered features at scale from pilot to production.
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in the Games Industry supporting title development, release, or live ops.
• Experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.

• Drive platform architecture decisions and contribute to technical design reviews.
• Lead the adoption and evangelization of GenAI tools across internal teams.
• Launch cross-functional agents to increase productivity and create transformative workflows.
• Evaluate and optimize performance by designing caching strategies and implementing request optimization.
• Partner with game developers and platform teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and operate high-scale API infrastructure using Native AWS.
• Ensure enterprise-grade security, compliance, and responsible AI are integral to all solutions.
