Job description
The Apple Services Engineering Commerce group is seeking a back-end Java software engineer to join their Segments and Platform software engineering team. This team is responsible for the transactional engine that supports various Apple services, ensuring a seamless purchase and subscription experience for millions of customers worldwide. The role involves building scalable services that maintain high levels of transactional integrity, availability, and security. Candidates should be prepared to operate in ambiguous situations and make sound technical decisions under pressure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience implementing and maintaining critical systems at scale.
- Experience with Java.
- Experience working on highly scalable applications, event-driven systems, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with SQL and noSQL databases and entity relationship modeling.
- Strong commitment to automated testing, including integration, load, and end-to-end testing.
