NVIDIA is seeking a Senior AI Security Researcher to advance the security of frontier AI systems and applications. This role focuses on developing methods and tools to understand and mitigate security risks across various AI platforms and models. The researcher will collaborate with multiple teams to translate research findings into practical solutions for engineering and security challenges. The position requires a blend of original research and hands-on technical skills to enhance the security posture of NVIDIA's AI products.

• 12+ years of experience in AI security, cybersecurity research, applied ML research, offensive security, or related technical fields.
• Demonstrated record of original research and practical impact, such as deployed security ML systems or AI-security evaluations.
• Hands-on ability to build working research systems in Python and modern ML/data tooling.
• Experience with one or more AI-security areas such as LLM security, adversarial ML, or secure RAG.
• Strong cybersecurity foundation, including threat modeling and incident-response automation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Develop and answer open-ended AI security research questions to reduce risk in AI systems.
• Create practical methods, prototypes, evaluations, or tools to reveal AI system vulnerabilities.
• Explore a range of AI security problems including adversarial testing and secure deployment.
• Translate research into usable outcomes for engineering and security teams.
• Collaborate with various teams to connect research insights with security priorities.
• Help shape NVIDIA's AI-security research strategy by mentoring others and identifying emerging risks.
